課程概述 |
We plan to introduce several fundamental and essential tools in scientific computing. These tools mainly include numerical linear algebra, parallel computing, and statistical modeling. These knowledges and techniques are then integrated to conduct projects involving state-of-the-art research topics. |

課程目標 |
In addition to the proficiency of the topics to be coverd, we also focus on trainings in problem solving, teamwork collaboration, writing skills, and oral presentation via project based learning. |

Course activities include lectures, paper/book reading, hands-on exercises, presentations, and individual/team projects.
Homework and Mini Projects: 50%
